Question by Janet: Why has Roman Polanski received so much support regarding his fugitive status?
More than 100 people signed a petition calling for his release, including Whoopi Goldberg, Martin Scorcese, and David Lynch. Is there some doubt regarding the allegations, or do these people just want a pedophile to be legally allowed back in the U.S. because he happens to be a good director?
