Why Do People Who Do Heroin or Cocaine Have Sores on Their Faces?
Question by Socially Correct: Why do people who do heroin or cocaine have sores on their faces?
I am watching an episode of “Jail” and lady who says she does “cocaine” and “heroin” and she had all these sore looking things on her face. I am just curious “What causes that?”

It comes from scratching and probably living in filth. When you’re a junkie, you don’t really take care of yourself, so you end up with sores and lesions all over your face from dirt.
It’s also possible (but more common in meth-amphetamine users) that people will scratch at their skin because the drugs often make you feel like bugs crawling under your skin.

That is the body’s natural defense by fighting out toxins through your poors.
