Step Brother Problems?
Question by andrew d: Step Brother problems?
So my step brother is living with us(he is 23) and he is on house arrest for a DUI. He is also going to treatment for doing cocaine “occasionally”. I smoke pot maybe once a month. I dont buy pot, i dont make a point of smoking it, i will just smoke sometimes with people. I have told him a few times after i smoked pot what i did thinking i could trust him. Recently my sister told me that he told my mom that i was a pothead and smoked all the time. I am very mad at him and am going to confront him on why he told them. I trusted him with my personal information and then he told on me and lied about it. What should i say to him?

I actually recommend doing nothing. If your mom confronts you on smoking pot, completely deny it and play it off as though your step brother is lying. If you try to get even, you mom will just think that it is true. Good luck! Hope this helped!

nothing cause he should not have lied on you but maybe he told your mom cause he don’t want you to go down the same road he went down. it not that he told on you but that he might really love and see a lot of himself in you and want to save you before you end up like him. I hope this works out for you.
