Question by none: My brother has been sharing drug needles, chances of HIV?
SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY!

I just found out that my 19 year old brother is heavily addicted to HEROIN and has been sharing needles with everyone for the past year. We live in san diego county. He has even shared needles with homeless people and people he doesnt know. What are the chances that he has contracted HIV or another disease like Hepatitus?

p.s. we are trying our best to get him into rehab, but nobody can force him. please pray for him.

Pretty high, don’t know %, but very risky, even for hepatitis. So sorry to hear about this. The courts can force him if he can’t take care of himself.

There is no way to tell you the chances like percent wise. All anyone can say is there is obviously a chance. It’s not good.
