If You Have a Warranty on Your iPod and You Break It, Will Apple Replace It?
Question by mbwww95: If you have a warranty on your iPod and you break it, will Apple replace it?
I recently dropped my 4th Generation, 4 GB iPod Touch in my driveway and it broke. My warranty expires in February. If I take it back to the store, will it be replaced?

they only cover software not hardware on the warranty. Sometimes they let it slide and replace it but not always.

Same thing happened to me. For a cracked screen (4G). It will be returned from Apple without being repaired – with statement that the damage wasn’t covered since it was not a defect, but user “abuse” (dropping it or something). But you can get it fixed in a ipod repair shop. or a recovery store.
