We’re All Crazy Here (Poem)

we’re all crazy here (poem) – Filmed by Mark Cochran . Lyrics below: this violence grows, like the mist of smoke, ripping holes in throats, read my eyes before I scream loud enough to blow your brain out your ear, the skeleton in the mirror tells me “I’ve always been here”, after all those stressfull days colourin in the year, it all becomes so crystal clear, convinced your only a coccaine addiction, away from a killing spree, digging out the demons with inflictions, so has it that the man passing on the street, might only be, a tap on the shoulder away from kicking the shit out of me, but it’s ok breathe, nah I’d prefer a cigarette now, the ground it opens up and the ropes fly out, these streets keep dragging us down, throwing us around the same old days, saying the same old same, your face looks like it fits blame, “we’re all crazy here, this doley poet told us”, says the town, “there was just no mirrors around to show us”, sometimes the air stings, and I don’t even need a drink, to think awful things, with a stomach full of anxiety, need feeding violence, someones getting there fix, I can hear the police sirens, maybe I’ll just put the weed down, pick up an invisible crown, look down on those who dangle on the side of my face, making me frown, and try and feel what it’s like to be king Written: 4jul.10
