MY EX AND I WAS TOGETHER 7 1/2 YEARS. HE HAVE CHEATED FIVE TIMES AND BROKE UP WITH ME THEN GOT BACK WITH ME WHEN HE WAS READY TO. I ALWAYS WANTED TO MARRY…WITH MY STUPID ASS…..BECAUSE I LOVED HIM. HE LIVED WITH ME AND WOULDN’T WORK OR GO TO SCHOOL. HE HAD A JOB AND QUIT BECAUSE HE DIDNT LIKE IT. I LIVE ALONE AND I WAS READY TO LIVE WITH HIM AGAIN BUT HE SAID HE’S NOT READY TO GET MARRIED. I BROKE UP WITH HIM YESTERDAY BECAUSE I’M TIRED OF WAISTING MY LIFE ON THIS MAN…….BUT WHY DO I FEEL SO BAD???

Its not unusual for you to feel bad you had been together for a long time
I’m sure you still care for him and that’s why your feeling this way
But it sounds like your better off without him.. he needs to sort his life out and it isn’t fair that he is dragging you down!

When we’re with someone for a long time, we become codependent on them. He was like a poison in you veins. You’re going through withdrawal and your symptoms are normal. A cocaine addict “feels bad” for giving up cocaine. But every day it’ll get the tiniest bit easier, until, I promise, a year from now it won’t even matter, and two years from now you’ll laugh it off.
