Any Suggestions for Getting Rid of Cradle Cap?
Question by newmom2es: Any suggestions for getting rid of cradle cap?
My 4 month old has terrible cradle cap. I’ve tried olive oil, baby oil, and Baby Aquaphor. Any other treatments you’ve used that worked well? Thanks!

Time. If it doesn’t bother them, I say let it go. My mother in law covered my baby’s head in olive oil when I wasn’t home one day, and it took days to get that greasy feeling off of everything (including him).
I just picked it at when I breastfeed him…. I couldn’t help it. I called it “cradle crack” because it was so tempting to pick at.
If it doesn’t bug them, let it go. It’s just a little cradle crack.

I use the cradle cap shampoo ( I got mine at CVS). It works pretty good. Once I was my 7 month old hair I comb it over and over to try to loosen some of the “gunk”, Like I said its helping but its still not gone.
