Why Is Ophcrack Unable to Crack the Passwords for Some of My Windows 7 Accounts?

Question by Andrew: why is ophcrack unable to crack the passwords for some of my windows 7 accounts?
i burned ophcrack live cd onto a cd and it runs perfectly fine.
but it is unable to crack 3/6 accounts, including the admin account which is what i want to get into.
anyone know the problem/solution?
i HIGHLY doubt that there are any special characteristics like that in the password so are there any reasons beside that?

Because they contain special characters like ! or ? and such. ophcrack can’t crack those, you’d have to use huge rainbow tables.

Try to use another software. I use “Windows Login Recovery”. You can download from http://www.windowsloginrecovery.com
